Easy Peasy (set of 4)
These pieces are the first of what will become a larger set of pieces for people who are early on in their piano journey and may be just starting exam grades.
The first two in the set, Noodling Around and Lonely Monday, appear on Perspectives, my piano album which was released to streaming platforms on 23/11/23. You can listen to them here: Bandcamp Spotify YouTube
The second two (Forlorn Fifths and Making Friends) were completed immediately after the album release. If you have purchased the first four, I will send any additional pieces in the set to you free of charge once I have written them.
Noodling Around is a medium tempo, contemplative piece that wanders around before finding the notes it wants with a jab of glee. Lonely Monday is an uneasy little piece about feeling a bit uncertain and lonely at the start of the week. Recognising what 5ths look like seems to help my pupils with their sight reading so Forlorn Fifths is a little piece featuring even more of them! The 4th piece is about 2 young children exploring meeting each other and Making Friends, cautiously at first, and then more triumphantly and confidently.
