The Lonely Skater

£5.00

The Lonely Skater appears on Perspectives, my piano album which was released to streaming platforms on 23/11/23. You can listen to it here: Bandcamp Spotify YouTube

This is a slow, sad waltz about a skater tracing out curves and swooping gracefully across ice on a quiet, still, winter’s day as they reflect on past events in their life that didn’t turn out quite the way they had hoped. Regret is tinged with acceptance that maybe it was all for the best before they eventually return back to their lonely present.

It would suit Grade 7+ learners who can stretch an octave.
